Please help us raise $10,000 before end of year!

We have had an incredible year of dog rescue and took on many medical and
special needs cases. As a result, we really need to raise $10,000 to see us
through the end of the year.

Every dog we save gets top notch and immediate medical care before going
into experienced and wonderful foster homes. Once these dogs are groomed,
well fed and rehabilitated- which can sometimes take many months, they go
into wonderful forever homes.

Below are just a few of the dogs with medical issues that we saved in the
past three months.

We need your help so that we can save a few more urgent dogs before the end
of the year. All donations are tax deductible.

Below: Molly- a senior blind poodle found on the streets and taken to a very
full shelter. No one was going to save her- but we did. See the before and
after pics below.

Tiny three and a half pound, Zoey was found in a field and taken to a county
shelter with a huge bulging and painful eye. She was to be euthanized the
next day because surgery was urgent. We saved her that day and our vet
removed her eye immediately. She is now safe and happy in a loving foster

Tiny Maltese pup Fiona, just five weeks old and just two and a half pounds,
was relinquished to us when owners found out she had a huge hole in her
heart and would die without surgery. We got her immediately to our wonderful
team of cardiologists and fed her very well for 6 weeks to get her to the
four pounds she needed to be for the surgery. She had expensive heart
surgery ten days ago.

Fiona is now as good as new and will have a normal, long and happy life. She
will be up for adoption in three months.

These are just a few of our most recent medical rescues, which does not
include dogs that come to us needing less major medical. Strays, owner
relinquished and shelter dogs that also need love and kindness and some
medical, but not major.

We are dedicated to our cause and will be saving many more dogs in 2019, but
right now funds are low, and we could really use your help!

We have a donate button on our home page: or checks can
be mailed to:

Dolly: A Beautiful Transformation

What a success story! An amazing transformation … one rescue dog’s story!

Watch Dolly’s rescue video now.

As rescuers, the most rewarding part of what we do is being an active part of the miraculous transformation of a dog in need. Dolly the poodle is one such magical rescue story.

We received a call from a woman in Sylmar, saying that a very matted, stray dog had been scrounging for food in trash cans in a vacant lot for months. She had tried to catch her, but to no avail, so was finally reaching out to rescue. With the help of Eldad Hagar of Hope for Paws, we managed to get Dolly that same day. She was in such horrific shape it was shocking even to us well seasoned rescuers. Dolly could barely see, and her matted fur was so heavy and thick it was tearing from her skin. What pain she must have endured. We rushed her immediately to the groomers where they shaved her, and removed 10 pounds of matting from this 15 pound dog! Once in a foster home, Dolly began to thrive. With lots of TLC and good nutrition she was ready for a home within a month. She was adopted, along with another rescue poodle that we had, by a wonderful woman. Dolly, now named Paris, lives the good life with her poodle sister, Nicky, in a lovely house in Cheviot Hills.

Its dog’s like Dolly that keep us doing the work we do…saving one dog at a time.

With your continued support, we are able to rescue more dogs like Paris!

Bella Bambina and Kobe need a home!

Bella Bambina and Kobe were abandoned in a house in Sylmar when their owners moved out over a week ago!

Bella Bambina is a seven month old poodle puppy. She is good with dogs, cats and
people. She has a tongue that hangs out of her mouth, is a total sweetheart and is happy go lucky!

Kobe is a year and a half and is a male chi of six pounds. Very sweet, a bit scared but very loving once he warms up. He is quite the snuggler!

Both need loving forever homes or fosters!!!
